Rashmika And Vijay's Wedding Celebration Begins; Couple's First Sangeet Look Leaked

Mumbai: Finally the big day has arrived for Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda, who will exchanging wedding vows on Thursday in two ceremonies, a traditional Telugu wedding in the morning, followed by a customary Coorg (Kodava) ceremony in the evening.

The couple, who recently confirmed their wedding on social media with a beautiful name tag 'The Wedding of VIROSH', a nickname given to couple by their fans, are all set to exchange vows at ITC Mementos in Udaipur.

Will there be two wedding ceremonies?

According to sources, who spoke to media, the couple will host two distinct wedding ceremonies on Thursday, a traditional Telugu wedding in the morning for Vijay’s family, followed by a customary Coorg (Kodava) ceremony in the evening for Rashmika’s side.

What is primal theme?

The couple has chosen a "primal" theme for their special day, a concept which means beginning that is deeply rooted in culture and centred around simplicity.

A 'primal' theme is inspired by how marriages were celebrated decades ago, with simple traditions, rooted rituals, and an old-world charm being beautifully recreated.

When did the ceremonies began?

Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda started their pre-wedding ceremonies since February 23. The back-to-back events began with Japanese-themed evening on Monday. In the pictures, which were shared by couple, the beautiful couple tag "Virosh" was embroidered on napkins and the decor was giving a classic vibe.

In the evening the couple also hosted cricket and a volleyball match, which added a sporty twist to their weeding festivities.

Later at night, the couple had their sangeet celebration which was surrounded by friends and family. In a viral picture from the sangeet night, Rashmika and Vijay can be seen walking hand-in-hand under warm ambient lights against a festive backdrop. 

On Wednesday, Vijay and Rashmika dropped the glimpses from their Haldi ceremony on their respective Instagram accounts.

The soon-to-wed couple shared partial glimpses from their Haldi ceremony, which  include baskets of flowers, pichkaris (water guns), and a cozy lunch setup. 

Rashmika's close friends, Kalyani Priyadarshan and Ashika Ranganath, also shared the most colourful selfies from Vijay and Rashmika’s fun-filled Haldi and Holi mashup celebration.
